I hate that it's just a given in the comics that Sif will one day be one of Thor's wives and bear his children and die no matter how much of a name she makes for herself.

Anytime I've watched a movie with a love triangle and the female character is in a relationship with a guy I actually like, and then goes on an adventure with an asshole and somehow that asshole represents freedom and is a better option somehow?
