Today has been a good day for fanfiction.

• LJC posted a Felicity/Oliver fic that I recommended in detail here, so now you can all read that.


• I finally read this Damian Wayne-centric fanfic, which I had passed on previously, because I did not realize from the summary that it involved Damian Wayne MATCH-MAKING, oh my heart, and also really fabulous Barbara/Dick.


• And finally, hot, in character, BRAND NEW TO ME Clint/Natasha, with sex pollen and pegging.

but damian being so transparently young and child-like about his family and his parents is nice to see -- something the comics could have done more of, instead of giving him adult in a child's body spouting sexist, classist nonsense.

I'm at this place were DC's terrible choices are actually almost hilarious in their badness. (Although to be honest, while there is no reason for Damian to have sexist ideas considering that the League of Assassins is coed and didn't his mom raise him once he wasn't a baby...? Damian being classiest kind of makes sense to me... as a flaw that he needs to learn is incorrect.)

DC's problem in a nutshell. They don't know when they have gold in their hands and they don't know what to do with the great characters they have.

and meanwhile Steph and Jason are the Bad Robins, blergh.

The bad robins, ugh. I need to reread Lost Days (Jason looking at photos of Tim in the robin costume just kill me) but that what Jason couldn't handle was that he wasn't avenged? UGH, I CAN'T. BRB, SOBBING.

Even when I think I've reached a higher zen stage of yolo towards DC, I still can't stop whining somehow. ;)

Bring it.

Side bar: I need keywords for this Cass icon, and I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

Yep. Also, Talia is a character who I think is epically mis-managed, but every time I think of her "damn you Batman! ....Let me fuck your hot foster son in revenge" I just want to slow clap.

The pivotal Cass quote is "I don't kill but I don't lose either" but it doesn't fit the icon. It reminds me of how she always makes the blah blah blah hand gesture when she thinks people are talking too much tho.
