Don't You Have Any Happy Stories?

So I’ve quit and restarted Arrow about four times now. However, my mom started watching (she loves Moira and Felicity/Oliver, clearly good taste runs in our blood... and is passed on by environment and encouragement) and that got me watching again, so I’m up to date with season two although I still need to finish the first season.

Some random thoughts:

• Am I crazy, or does Oliver have this *specific smile* he only uses in regards to Felicity? Like when Diggle and Felicity first show up on the island and Felicity is kind of chewing him out, he turns away and has this specific, soft smile and then when he faces her again his has his regular ‘Oliver Queen’ smile.


• Shado, why would you bone lank-haired Ollie when you have a fine-ass Australian merc who is totally DTF you? What were you thinking, girl?


• I thought that there was no way that Arrow would ever do anything with Black Canary that didn’t make my soul die, but Sara Lance? You can stay. Fierce as fuck, competent as fuck, willing to kill people who need killing? Vendetta against abusive men? Probably going to be torturing Oliver in flashbacks shortly? Adorable relationship with an abused street kid? I’m in love. I'm sad that the most recent episode was her exit from the present storyline, but I'm consoling myself with the fact that she's probably going to be torturing Oliver in flashbacks (and is going to at some point met Shado.) (Am already sobbing inside about the fact that she’s going to be killed off so Laurel can steal her clothes.)


• There was a super-quick reference to a 'child' of al Ghul... please please PLEASE tell me we are going to get a badass Talia? Please.


• How many people observed this scene and had no doubt that Felicity and Oliver are knocking boots? Like, a feel like that gesture just won a couple people some money in the office pool.
