From Now On, Plan B is Always Plan A

qualapec asked me: If Kate Bishop was introduced to the MCU, how would you want it to play out?

Not where she's Clint's daughter, that's for damn sure.

To be honest, I actually think that Kate would be a pretty poor choice to add to the MCU - I've liked Kate best and thought she worked best when the universe is smaller than the movies marvel is currently making - she's the Batman of a team of superheroes finding her feet, she's hanging around Clint Barton on his days off, she's driving to California to be a hero for hire.

If SHIELD were a better show, I'd think she'd work well there, but as it stands, some of SHIELD's intrinsic problems make me want Kate to stay far, far away.

Maybe, if the upcoming Marvel Jessica Jones/Luke Cage minseries work out well, that might be a good slot for her?
