• How many Steve Rogers icons is too many Steve Rogers icons? I'm asking for a friend.


• You will never hear me ask how many Natasha Romanoff icons is too many Natasha Romanoff icons, because there is no such thing as too many Natasha Romanoff icons.


• I deleted all my stock | real person icons (except this one) because I'm weird partially to give me more icon room to play with and partially because... I dunno, like, I'm weird about using celebrity's images when they're being themselves and not a character. Plus, I feel like I have to be 100% sure that any celebrity that I have an icon of, I like, think is a legitimately amazing person, and that's just a lot of pressure, you know?

I would say much the same rule applies for Steve as it does Natasha. IF there were unlimited icons. However, perhaps the answer should be: one less than Natasha? (Steve makes some of the prettiest icons, however, I'm hard-pressed to find a truly amazing Nat icon (setting aside the amazingness that is Natasha, period.)

I often think that I should sway more toward stock icons since I can never achieve a fair balance between all my fandoms, but then every time I talk to about a character, I get really frustrated if I don't have an icon for them.

But please tell me you kept your Cassie/Nick icon because that is pm why I added you. I didn't NEED to know anything else about you, but was of course pleased to find we had other fandoms in common as well. (ah! found it, you kept it, excite!)

Well, right now the score is

Natasha: 18
Steve: 6

So I don't think there's really any chance that Steve will ever have more icons than Nat. I actually have found the opposite to be true with regards to Natasha vs. Steve. I have SUCH a hard time finding Steve icons that I like (although I do adore the ones I have uploaded) where I have a TON of Natasha icons.

I agree, sometimes it's really frustrating not to have the perfect icon for each fandom, but I've found stock icons for common themes that I talk about often, and that has really been satisfying.

It really is. I wish I could find a few common themes in my life, that maybe weren't all quite so illegal. Everything else is just completely random, and I can't track it very well. Glad you found some though!

answering that question is fairly difficult for me. I'm so emotionally invested in Marvel that I've actually had to pull out of the Marvel fandom because it literally sucked me dry? But since I'm technically not doing ANYTHING with Marvel rn, I'm a bit of a free spirit, roaming arounf all of my other fandoms. I suppose at the very moment, I would say Push is the one I'm most invested in, because I have both a desire to read/write Push fic, and re-watched the movie the other night, etc. etc.

Ha! I was actually just asking which Push icon you liked better!

As for your question, I am definitely more interested in Marvel, at the moment. I kind of feel like I've read enough Push fic to feel satisfied? If that makes sense. And there's really only one or two stories I'm interested in with Push, where as Marvel has more characters I'm very, very invested in.
