So, I watched the Sif episode of SHIELD, and thank god, I can now officially quit watching that show. Again. For the third time. Let's hope this one sticks.
The things I liked:
The things I liked:
- Jamie Alexander's body language. I loved how she moved like she was too big for the room, whatever room she was in.
- This scene, even though I hate the 'everybody's straight' implications of scenes like these.
- May being assigned to watch Coulson.
- WHY DOES EVERYBODY WANT TO HAVE A PINING, TRAGIC ROMANCE BETWEEN SIF AND THOR? NOBODY WANTS THAT EXCEPT YOU DUMB WRITERS. Also, no lie, when Lorelai was talking about Sif not getting what she wants, I swear I was surprised when Lorelai said Thor and not Loki.
- If May was going to bring up what Lorelai said about Ward's feelings (which was totally inappropriate; what May should have said was 'Ward, are you okay?' given that he'd just been brainwashed and raped - compare and contrast to the great scene between Nat and Clint in the Avengers) THE ONLY RELEVANCE OF WARD'S FEELINGS FOR SKYE IS THAT HE'S SKYE'S DIRECT SUPERIOR and that's a situation that is ripe to end with lines being crossed that shouldn't be and Skye not getting the training she deserved because Ward is emotionally compromised.
