I Love Science & A Utopian Future

I am watching season 2 of Star Trek Discovery which I have found to be REALLY good quarantine television. There is just something so *chef’s kiss* about star trek.

SPEAKING OF, given *gestures to everything* I was thinking about starting a journal and I was like ‘but I don’t want a PHYSICAL journal, is there a good on-line diary website…., with like automatic dates and a textbox….’

Basically longing for livejournal. Which made me ask myself... do I need to… start using dreamwidth?

If you ever want to talk about shows or movies to watch while staying at home, let me know!
There is one kdrama on Netflix that has some Gallya-esque shipping tropes: Crash Landing into You.

For sci fi shows, I’ve been watching Devs and Westworld.

you know what, I do think there's something about star trek, might be how it basically seems like a socialist utopia, cause i'm not that big of a fan and i found myself with a drive to watch the original series yesterday, and i talked to my friend yesterday who said that she's watching voyager because she just wants something comforting

yeah that's the winning combination during a pandemic, i guess

+ i watched the first episode of the original series, i prefer to have more women than this and do not usually care about fictional men, but i swear kirk should not be looking at all of his crew members as if he harbored an undying love for them, some things are just too much
