Top 5 Fight scenes in Avatar.

Top five? Avatar has so many…. Let’s see, five being middling-awesome, one being rapture-like:
1. The fight against a hundered earthbenders in the Earth king, simply because of the scale and epicness.
2. Katara’s duel in The Puppet master, especially the part before Aang and Sokka arrive. It just captures the waterbending style of fighting perfectly, and the light is beautiful.
3. The fight in The Beach with sparky sparky boom man. The way they cut the music made it intense.
4. Azula and Aang’s battle in The Drill.
5. Final battle in The Chase, because I have a thing for major characters getting utterly pwned.
With special mentions going to the Zuko Jet duel, Sokka versus his master, Zuko in the Blue Spirit and Zuko alone, and Mai’s three minutes of ownage in The Boiling rock. They aren’t bending battles, but they’re still cool. I should also mention that almost any fight scene in Avatar outclasses most other shows.

Really? Interesting. Care to share what your list would look like…? Also, I forgot to mention it at the time, but the Agni kai would probably replace one of those on the list.

1.) The fight between Pakku and Katara, which contains my favorite single frame of the entire show.

2.) Spirit Oasis fight.

3.) Jet vs Zuko with the swords

4.) Bloodbending for the win!

5.) Suki pwning at the prison riot.

It really was. But as you can tell, I'm biased in favor of the waterbending fights.

And I forgot to mention Aang and Zuko's fight in episode two (with the mattress) and their fight in Bato of the water tribe as honorable mentions.

The fight in Bato of the water tribe and Pakku vs Katar are really the only two fights I liked in season one, the rest were alright, but somewhat… lackluster. A lot of people like the spirit oasis fight, but it just never clicked for me.
