We all know about as much as we want about the canon characters of our respective fandoms. But what about our own creations? Take any original characters from any of my fanfictions, and ask me three questions about them. But be warned, my answers might well contain fic spoilers.
Okay, so, I don't actually write my original character often; they always come with fifteen chapters of plot and five chapters of backstory, and a.) I am not great with writing chaptered fanfic and b.) I don't want to spend that much time on fic that most people won't read.
But I do have them.
So, give me a fandom, and chances are, I'll have an OC who would be dying to chat with you.

Sakura and Kakashi go off on a deep cover, S-class mission (and I've yet to find the villian epic enough to make what they do through worth this) and go undercover, traveling among missing nins and the underworld, gaining information, contact, etc. This is a long-term assignment, and while they're on it, Sakura gets pregnant, and they have Orin.
Now, when Orin is... oh, around eight, Sakura is killed in a suitably awesome way. Kakashi goes a bit insane, as one is wont to do, and is going to find and destroy the people who killed Sakura if it's the last thing he does.
They continue on like that for a few years, Orin and Kakashi both trying to find Sakura's killers and the information they need - only in a moronic attempt to protect Orin, Kakashi doesn't tell her quite everything.
Now, one day, Orin comes back the appartment, and sees that it's wrecked, bloody, and has all the signs that she's now an orphan.
So she does what her parents always told her to do if she didn't have any options and couldn't find them: she goes to the Hidden Villiage of Konoha, somewhere she's never been.
So, from the sixth's hokage's perspective:
Sakura and Kakashi vanish on a classified mission he only finds the details about later - *poof* Silver-haired, green-eyed ninja sitting in his office.
Orin has a hard time adjusting: what the hell is going all? Why is everyone referring to me by my real name? How come everyone knows my parents? This is the bizarro world, especially that green-wearing freak who's always around.
Then it turns out that Kakashi's not dead, and when Orin meets him again, she is beyond furious. Family angst follows, they finally defeat the villians, and all is well in Konoha.
As for Orin specifically, she has a really skewed view of her skills because of who he parents are. She has damn good chakra control, but can only manage the monsterous strength of her mother when she's so upset that she's basically emotionless, or has been meditating for a good forty minutes beforehand, and while she learns new jutsus at an INSANE rate, she's like, 'yeah, whatever, it took me three hours to learn that, I'm completely mentally challenged.'
Basically, for her, 'playing' was ninja training, and she and Kakashi used to play some varient of, like, jutsu monopoly or whatever, so she knows and incredible amount of different jutsus, and is really, really good at eye-based stuff. Like, she need reading glasses, and she magiced (and I know that's not quite the right word) to be able to see chakra as well, and she can do a whole bunch of nifty eyesight tricks.
Oh, and she reads just about everything, but she really loves mystery novels, the ones with some impossible case that's neatly solved in the end, with all plot threads in place.

(And I imagine if Ino had a daughter too the bickering between her and Orin would be v. entertaining^^)
