This will make no sense to anyone who doesn't read J.D. Robb's In Death Series, but I would bet money that
Mavis daughter ends up as a total goth in rebellion.

And I highly doubt that Eve and Roarke will ever have kids. Robb toyed with the possibility when Mavis was pregnant, but the way both people in that couple are totally freaked out about birth and babies? No.

Summerset is the one who really needs a daughter, though. I'm still annoyed he didn't adopt that one little girl who had her family killed.

Was that the one with the baby stealing ring?

What about it?

And am I the only one totally shipping Summerset/Mavis? They're just so cute together, and it would give Eve a heart attack.

Also, that icon is great.

yes it was, and I thought it was a totaly cliche fest and I predicted the ending in about twenty pages and said if they did that I'd throw the book (I didn't, it belonged to the library but still)

um yeah probably

thanks

I can't even remember the ending (let's just say that I'm not reading those books for the plot.)

my problem is I don't like Eve at all. I only pretty much like Roarke and Peabody

I like Eve - she's one of Robert's better heroines (plus, she hits a hell of a lot of my personal kinks.) That said, she doesn't hold a candle to Peabody, and I think Peabody/oh crap I'm totally blanking on his name was a much better romance with much more realistic characters.

McNab.

Eve's all right. I think she over does the bitch in her (and well i'm reading the series out of order and she nearly lost me in the first book i read when she kicked a droid in the nuts and it worked. Um WHY?)

Hah, the last book I chucked anywhere was Walden, back in high school. I'd been struggling with it all evening (and I am an AVID READER :/ ) and had finally gone to bed and left it next to my bedside table...and then I heard cats fighting on the roof. And I was like, YESSSsss. >:D *gropes around on floor...*
