The Same Old Thing We Did Last Week

So, on the way down to Eugene, my phone broke, and I got a new one today. It's charging up, and I can't do anything with it at the mo, but holy mother of god do I need to download some ringtones, because the ones it came with are fucking atrocious.

And now, memage from [personal profile] meganbmoore:

Choose a fandom and I will tell you:

1. The character most likely to fall in love with the wrong person
2. The character whom I'm embarrassed to admit I adore
3. The character that would send me screaming in the opposite direction IRL despite being fascinating in fiction.
4. The character with the most annoying personality quirks
5. The character I most admire and why
6. The character with the worst temper
7. The character most likely to fail at everything
8. The pairings I prefer in canon
9. The pairings I prefer in fanon
10. The character with the most personal growth in canon

Bones is absolutely and completely lovely. I'm trying to get my Mom into it, though I'm afraid she's going to have Adaptation Syndrome, being a huge Reichs fan.

..Really I want to get her into a show better than Lost or Gray's Anatomy, her two TV obsessions. ..That first one's my fault, unfortunately.

At the moment, I've only seen season one. Hulu only has that and the first three and last three of Season three, so I'm going to have to just sit tight and wait until I can send a Netflix DVD back and watch it that way. I've also seen the season three premier and some random episode of season two, on television, before I got into the show. By the way, the best and most undeserving compliment I've ever gotten was being compared to Bones. I wouldn't even have a problem with having her particular social dysfunction.

Awesome answers. And so true. I feel genuinely bad for Zack, I love Booth despite himself, and though I have not seen the scene to which you allude, I agree that Angela is just awesome.

Bones is one of those shows where I honestly think that the adaption made it better. A lot of my problems with the books don't exist in the show (I, personally, think the show is far superior).

I wouldn't even have a problem with having her particular social dysfunction.

Yeah, Bones is so awesome and part of her awesomeness is how bad she is with people.

Booth grows on you. They really start to do cool things with who he is, and who he used to be, and that was really enjoyable.
