Thinky Thoughts

So, I was rereading Kakashi gaiden last night, as one does, and reaffirming the fact that yep, Kakashi is the best-written character in that series.

I mean, how many other characters had a completely different personality when they were younger, had a change of heart, and it makes total sense?

Plus, Kakashi's badass without being heartless, not annoying, honestly hilarious to read the majority of the time, isn't consumed by his angst yet angst mightily, and is, in short win.

And on a reread it's much easier to see why Kakashi starts liking Obito - can you imagine how desperate Kakashi probably was for someone to validate his father's memory?

But something else caught my attention is that it sounds like the 3d great ninja war was basically a free-for-all between the countries, which means that Minato (who's pretty damn cool) and Kushina (who's also pretty damn cool) were quite possibly NOT allies, but met as enemies on the battlefield.

Please tell me someone has wrote something with that idea.

Please.

I definitely agree that Kakashi is the best written character in the series. And there's still so more that could be told about his story. I'd personally rather read about him than the Uchihas. They all shoulda been medicated.

Word.

Not only does Kakashi get character development and growth, he's screws up and suffers for his actions.
