You Guys, I Just Realized That Sakura & Sasuke Are The Two Havles Of The Same Soul

Really.

Just look at the evidence:

Part 1: Sakura is badly written by Kishimoto, and drives the majority of the audience insane with annoyance. Sasuke is kinda cool.

Part 2: Sasuke is badly written by Kishimoto, and drives the majority of the audience insane with annoyance. Sakura is fantastically cool.

It's like they share a set amount of 'annoying' and when one takes, the other gives. *sigh*

Don't you see? They're soul mates. The last scene of the manga will be them getting married and/or surrounded by pink-haired, pinwheel-eyed children.

It's totally canon, don't bother arguing with me.

Shut up, Sakura x Sasuke are only the greatest romance since Bella and Edward! (OMG OTP!!1111!!!!)

What I am basing my opinion on TTGL on are the six episodes I've seen so far, which in my opinion is a fair testing for wether or not I want to continue. And yeah, it sounds like it get more awesome further along the road - but since TTGL fits in with a lot of some of the same patterns of storytelling I'm seeing in other mangas and animes and getting annoyed with... I don't know if I want to but the time into the show to find out if those elements of storytelling go away.

I can see that, and if you'd found the show on your own, I'd say six episodes is a reasonable tester. But in this case you've got lots of friends vouching for it, including ones such as myself who adore good female characters.

And a good thing to keep in mind is that Gainax seems enthusiastic about awesome chickness, considering that Gunbuster and Diebuster are about Bad-Ass Female Mecha Pilots.

I guess what I'm saying is, you may have seen enough to keep going or not, but not enough to informedly lump it in with less-than-awesome stuff.
