First, after I bid on something on ebay, is there anyway to cancel that bid, if the auction is still ongoing?

Also, I updated Quicktime, so I'm now running 5.0.2, and if I click on an .avi file, it wouldn't open the file unless I open Quicktime first. Can anyone help me with this?
