I had a great time in Seattle this weekend. Got to see awesome friends, eat good food. I actually forgot my wallet and ID when we left the enderxxenocide's house, so not so much with the clubbing or the bars this trip, although we did have midori sours when we got back, and watched much great anime.
Returned home tired and to more Avatar wank. Mike & Bryan's dislike of Zutara continues to baffle me, considering what they give us, and I really, really hope that they got permission before using those fanarts, because that was what was really making me cringe.
I'm in that mood where I want to listen to music, but every song is a song I don't want to hear.
In more joyous Avatar news, everyone needs to read Green Island Serenade, which is a fantastic character study I'm shocked more people aren't reading:
"But as suddenly as they were there they were gone (Sokka’s kiss lingering on her lips with tingling pleasantness, salty and bold) and sooner, even, then she could forget it, Suki was in rags.
She trained, and waited, and believed, and in her mind she was in a wet, green place, unencumbered by red walls and metal.
“She’s their leader,” the princess sneered, when they took her. “Give her the special treatment.” The hand on her cheek was delicate and disdainful, and Suki smiled inwardly when it came away white."
