So today was the day of my barista-ing job.
Good news is that I made killer tips yesterday and today.
Less good news is that I came home to cat vomit on my bed.
I think I'll be happier about this when I have a bit more sleep and I'm less emotionally hammered from the last two weeks.
(Also, the thought of never having the one guy who comes in and orders a "light" oatmeal when what he MEANS is a "small" or a "cup" is making me really, really happy. I have no idea why that annoys me so much, but it does. It's gotten to the point where whenever he says it, I'm thinking, "so.... you want oatmeal that's light enough to pass for white? Lighter than a paperbag is the rule, right?" Even though I know that's not what he means.)
On the plus side, we got our house painted, and it looks fabulous.
Also, I finally got to see all of Juno (had to send the disk back because the first time we got it from netflicks we got halfway through and then the disk was unwatchable.)
It wasn't as funny as I expected, but it was really good,
Also, I sort of watched Memories of A Geisha. And by watched, I mean I watched the first half an hour, realized this movie was going to be epically long and sad, and then went to go answer emails.
