Day 01 - A show that should have never been canceled
Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching
Day 03 - Your favorite new show (aired this TV season)
Hands-down, The Vampire Diaries. This show was vaguely on my radar (my roomate watched it, I knew formerly-UPN had a teenage vampire show) and then episode six aired and my flist exploded (VAMPIRE KATHERINE). Some of the people with the most feminist taste were going 'fuck yeah, TVD' and I was like, 'that's an endorsement I trust' so I downloaded all the aired episodes and started watching. Over the course of the season, my love just grew and grew.
This was the only show in god only know how long that I actually watched while it aired, on the television, with commercials.
This had the best finale of the season, the only one that made me want to watch the next episode NOW, and flail that these awesome characters were months away from returning.
This is the show who I have decided to rewatch this summer, in its entirety, because the storytelling was that solid. (Yes, the first couple of episodes were kind of trite, but bear in mind, this is a show that grows on you and improves as the season progresses.)
