I renewed my paid account yesterday and LJ finally allowed me to upload userpics (seriously, I just added a fuckton) and change my theme!

Ugh. I cannot express how badly I slept last night. It was terrible. I probably got six hours (nonconsecutively). Also, Sunday is typically the day that my roommate is gone (she works from home, so it's like the only time) but her things didn't work out this week so a.) I don't have the house to myself and b.) when she came back I startled awake so hard.
Ugh. And I work tomorrow and want to be perky and energetic when a friend visits later. So I guess the only thing to do is drink coffee?
In good news, I finished up Game of Thrones. Now, here is my history with this series: I have a bunch of friends who loved it and when I learned that HBO was doing a tv series, I tried to read the books. I read (most) of the first book and did not enjoy it enough to commit to another 5,000 pages or whatever the series would end up being - if, you know, the author doesn't die before he finishes.
So since I didn't like the book, I figured, why watch the series? Because the series makes everything a billion times better, that's why.

I didn't keep track of who was watching this show when it was airing so if you were, drop me a line - I'd love to catch up with other people's thoughts.
