it's been a long december and there's reason to believe maybe this year will be better than the last

• I ended up crying in IKEA today. This was not related to IKEA or furniture but to basically, real life events (that have a resolution in sight and which I'm not going to go into detail about). But yeah, actual tears.


• Thank god for my mother, is all I'm saying.


• I am basically moved into my new apartment. (Roommate has been gone all evening, which is undeniably promising for cohabitation happiness.)


• I had french toast for dinner tonight, along with sausage links and half of a veggie omelet. Delicious.
