*chuckles* When I was more into Naruto, I shipped Sakura/Sasuke on the explicit basis of a future where she hunts his traitor backside down and kicks some righteous sense into it. I would still ship it if we actually got a scene where Sakura wipes the floor with his smug face, and leaves him so utterly defeated by the girl he dismissed, that he has no recourse but to reconsider his life choices up till that point.

Sadly, the more I hear about where the show has gone since I stopped following it, the more I realize Kishimoto writes Sasuke with his ears stuffed full of cotton-wool, and that my odds of getting some tough-love, you-are-accountable-for-your-actions-dumbass SasuSaku are stacked worse than the last round of Jenga. *is sad*
