I've actually been kinda underwhelmed with this seasons mytharc, but I did enjoy these last two episodes.

Awkward!sex with Ruby was awkward (and I like her). Hot sex with Dean and hot angel girl was hot. I liked the reveal about Dean's time in hell - it makes a lot of sense and it's honestly bad enough to justify feeling awful about. (I hated how they harped on the time factor, though - sloppy writing. Like, he was tortured and hit a point where he couldn't be tortured any more, don't try to quantify it too much, just say time in hell is longer than time on earth.) Although I have to admit I preferred it when he didn't remember or only remembered in dreams.

Best part of the episode was blind seer coming back and being just as raunchy as ever - I LIKED her.

I think Dean might've just put it into years to make Sam have a grasp of what it was like; IMO, it's Hell. There are no 'days'. The demons don't work in shifts on you. It's just eternal torture, with the odd moment of relief that only serves to bring the pain back into focus. You can't keep track of how long you're down there, only establish that, okay, it now feels like I've been tortured for longer than I've been alive or something to that effect.

I agree. However, I do think it come out sounding a little awkward. My heart was breaking for poor Dean, though.

Well, it'd be awkward to describe to someone with no real point of reference, and in that sense I think it was effective.
