I'm trying to figure out WHEN Obama is getting sworn in and giving his speech and the internet is withholding that information. All the news channels (surprise surprise) just want me to park my ass on the couch at 11 am and wait.

Also, I massively wish that Soul Eater would stop using Excalibur when they need to do filler. How about a nice episode of watching Death the Kid obsessively straighten a painting? Watching Liz paint her nails? Watching Maka read? Watching Soul play the piano, oh my fucking god yes.

Speaking of that, it is totally my head!canon that what Soul played for Maka when she first meet his was Danse Macabre.
Also, Stein punching the mirror and then that shot of his hand dripped blood? Slayed me. I am growing more and more convinced in a horrible way that he's going to wind up killing himself to protect his students.

And I love how much he loves teaching.

And Medusa is totally jealous of Mary, you just know it.

The speech is going to be at 9:00 our time. Most everyone I know is going to start watching the telly about 8:00. (Remember, they are only giving out the east coast time, because everyone else in the country doesn't count.)

*grins* After that gorgeous shot of them together in the latest closing, Medusa would have to be asexual not to be jealous.

(She wants him. Oh, yes, she does. Although she forfeited her right to be shipped with him by me in any way but the most dysfunctional and bad-endingly as soon as I found out what she'd done to her own child. Sorry, Medusa, them's the breaks.)

Also, it always amuses me when people complain about how bad Soul's piano playing was in the fight against Mosquito, since I personally always assumed it was meant to sound like he was going nucking futs at the keyboard--and it seemed to me like that was the cast members' in-universe first reaction, as well. Although, yes, some gorgeous sexy classical playing would be wonderful, and I trust we'll get some before the series ends, because this studio loooves its instrumental music, and this composer loooves his piano solos. Oh, yes.

I need to get a Soul Eater icon or two, so I can stop abusing Hughes and his weapons of choice.

That was exactly my reaction. I could handle her trying to destroy the world, I could handle her even doing that to someone ELSE'S child, but her own? No. No, no, no, no Stein sexy times for you.
