Because when the chips are down and the good guys are getting their asses handed to them Maka is the one who shows up ready to kick ass.

Also, souleaterepsiodes.com has some kind of glitch with episode 45 which I desperately need to see oh my god. I've tried youtube, realitylapse,  and veoh with no luck. Help me, oh lovely flist?

I think all the other episodes work (even if the sub for episode 44 was horrific).

They have some lovely subs there, too, for when I'm feeling too lazy to bother with a RAW (or when there is a lot of Important High-Speed Plot Exposition Involving Big Words, thank you Shinigami >.<).
