I'll Be Flailing Around Over Here, Don't Mind Me

Okay, a little back story:

I've always been really jealous of those fic writers who inspire fanartists to draw pictures based on their stories. So whenever I came across linked art and fic, I've always enjoyed it and told myself that one day, someone would click with one of my stories and draw something.

Well, today, someone did.

onerottenpeach 's schoolgirl Sakura, from Schoolgirl Kink. I adore the blush on her cheeks on the far left (and the squee worthy 'sensei' with heart) and the way she looks irritated and is sticking out her tongue in the center (what do you want to bet she just got told that the mission had been extended?) and the way she looks like she's about to smack a bitch in the far right.


SQUEEEE!

(This has actually happened once before. I was sitting at the kitchen table, and my mother, who was outside, past the fence around our admittedly narrow front yard heard my squee!)

Lol, random person assaulting you with conversations on someone else's comments thread. But out of curiosity, why did that get you a flame? It's weird that someone would be all huffy about someone else having happened to both draw and write a scene they imagined. XP But Fandom Is Weird.

totally OT: your icon is adorable and I ♥ it~

I'm...not sure why. It was a picture of an OC I'd developed for a fic in the Kingdom Hearts fandom (which ended up falling through anyway :X), and in the artist comments, I mentioned that I was very proud of it, and that it was (to me) one of the best things I'd ever done.
