Rock woke up already groping after his memories of the preceding night.
His mind played coy.
Rock gingerly touched his forehead, wincing at the throb of his headache, beating with the same rhythm as his heart.
Next to him, Revy stretched and rolled over, dragging the pillow over her head.
The image of her, tan, naked skin, the sheet twisted around her torso, her calves, thighs, and her dark triangle of pubic hair all completely bare didn't jog his memory - his memory more stumbled a few times and then collapsed in a heap.
He remembered -
Revy half-bent back over the table, hands fisted and resting on his shoulders while his lips moved tentatively against hers.

cupping her through denim and then carefully, carefully, carefully pulling the zipper open, sliding her shorts down her legs.

Rock tugged one end of the sheet over his lap, propped his knees up, and rested his painful head on them.
Next to him, Revy shifted distractingly and then sat up, the pillow falling to the floor.
"'Morning," she said slurred and then started looking around.
"I'm terribly sorry," Rock started, "but I can't remember where I put your clothes.

Dutch ambled into the galley, scratching his abs idly.
It was a morning for bacon and eggs, he decided. Or maybe pancakes. Or possibly pancakes and bacon and eggs. If there was any milk for the pancake mix.
He hitched his pale blue boxers further up his hips and pulled open the refrigerator door. Yep, milk, eggs, Revy's panties, bacon in the meat drawer.
Dutch closed the fridge door, rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, and opened it again.
One pair of precisely folded cut off shorts. Under one perfectly folded black tank top. And spread on top of those two items like a flag of surrender were Revy's white cotton bikini panties.
Clearly, those feminine grunts, those masculine moans, the slap of flesh on flesh hadn't been Benny turning his porn up too loud. Again.
Dutch pinched the bridge of his nose. He'd like to think that Rock and Rebecca resolving their unresolved sexual tension would make his life easier, but his mother hadn't raised a fool. No, this would only make things more complicated, not less.
And when the shit hit the fan, he needed to be ready. And fed.
Ignoring the pile of clothing sitting on the top shelf, Dutch grabbed the eggs, milk, bacon, and tomato juice.
He piled them on the counter, yawned, stretched and wondered where Revy's bra was.
"None of your damn business," he told himself and went to get the pancake mix.
Turns out Revy's bra was dangling from the no brand corn flakes box by one strap.
Dutch slide out the box of mix, tossed it on top of the other ingredients, and went to go find aspirin.
Oh, yeah, resolving the sexual tension was going to resolve nothing, Dutch could already tell.

I wouldn't say that resolving the unresolved sexual tension wouldn't necessarily solve any problems. It would certainly solve a few problems. Of course it would create a few new ones as well. But the fact that Revy didn't kill Rock straight off, and that Dutch wasn't interrupted by the sounds of bloody murder, indicate that things seem to be looking up for the couple, as much as they can at any rate.
