Yeah, Claire is one of those characters who must have crazy-high pain tolerance from all the almost-dying she does. When we first meet her she's attempting to kill herself over and over again to test her powers.

A car accident, a gunshot and what's basically a nuclear bomb all fail to keep her down.

Dexter: Believable serial killer yes or no? Also, I haven't seen season 2 (I don't mind being spoiled) but I've been seeing the oddest posters in the subway- Dexter: Most Killer Dad! OMG it's a pic of him holding up a baby! Does he have a kid now???

I'm going to go with yes, especially early in season one, when I couldn't decide if the thought of Dexter creeped me out or was comforting. Later (I haven't even seen the end of season 1, so I don't know if he gets a kid later) he gets more human, but I don't think that really takes away from his believablity as a serial killer.

Oh, Madeline is very complex. I love what we see of her, but it's really hard for me to fix the tough broad with the wife who not only stayed with an abusive husband (which I can understand) BUT STAYED WHEN HER KIDS WERE BEING HURT.

I don't know that I have a favorite cuisine... I love chinese food, but I don't know if it's a favorite cuisin... I like stir fries, and eat a lot of chicken (either curry or with sesame dressing), and pizza is delicious... I also love fried chicken.

So do I! My dad hates it, so we hardly ever eat it together at the dinner table. But when he has to leave for something or another, my sister, my mom, and I will go to KFC and by cartons of fried chicken. He complains of it (the chicken, not us buying it), but we are like, "This is girls' comfort food," and he like, "Oh geez, really?"

My mother cannot stand the smell. She makes me eat it outside or away from her and throw the bones out in the garbage in the garage.

Of course, she also worked a KFC and it was even worse than normal fast food (she was working with bad people) which probably has an effect.

I think the attraction of Snape/Hermione boils down to how hot you think romances of the mind are. Because Snape is one of the few people who could meet and challenge and sometimes best Hermione sheerly via brainpower.

All the really good fanfics for this pairing have that element of romance via intellect.
