adapted from the_sun_is_up:

In your opinion, which is the television series you know that...

<:lj-cut>...you like the most?

Firefly. Simply for it's consistent awesome and characters that I love. This show is so well written that it's one of the hardest fandoms to fic I have ever known.

...has the best character development?

Buffy. Problems with the final seasons aside, no one can say that the characters were static. Well, except for Xander.

...has the most original plot?

Wonderfalls.

...has the most imaginative writers?

I'm going to have to go with Wonderfalls again.

...has the biggest Gary Stu among its characters?

NCIS. Fucking Gibbs. I seriously watch that show and pray for him to be wrong. It NEVER EVER happens.

...has the biggest Mary Sue among its characters?

Rory Gilmore, most likely.

...inspired you to write your first fanfic?

Buffy. It was horrible. Thank god I didn't know how to post fanfic at that point.

...has made you laugh more than any other?

HIMYM. Or Chuck. It's a tie.

...has the best filler episodes?

Most of my shows have enough of a prodedural element to them that they don't really have filler episodes.

...you stopped watching for some time, then started watching again?

Dollhouse. True Blood.

...is the sequel that should have never been made?

I have a feeling the second season of Legend of the Seeker is not going to be needed.

...you're embarrassed to admit you like?

Gossip Girl.

...pissed you off when they stopped airing it?

Firefly. Wonderfalls.

...made you cry the most?

I don't actually cry at television... ever. There have been two movies that have made me cry, but that's it.

...started out well, then went down?

Oh, SO many shows. Veronica Mars was the worst offender, though.

...had a mediocre plot but excellent characters?

Bones. Dollhouse. Legend of the Seeker.

...had a good premise but the characters were incredibly obnoxious?

NCIS. I would watch that show more if I didn't want to smack Gibbs and Tony SO FUCKING MUCH.

...you watched just because you were "in love" with a character?

For the first season of Burn Notice, it was all about Micheal, and Fi and Sam could have disappeared and I would not have missed them.

...impressed you just because it existed?

....television is conservative enough that nothing has really impressed me just because it existed.

...never could follow up and understand no matter how much you tried?

Lost? Although I didn't really watch that show.

...every time you watched an episode you had to comment it with your neighbors?

Right now that show is Dollhouse.

...is a disgrace to television?

the entire genre of reality tv?

...is a disgrace to television?

the entire genre of reality tv?

Amen.

The only ones I watch are ones where the people are actually in a competition and using a talent (like Top Chef, Project Runway, all those food network competition shows...).

I admit to giving those talent shows a pass.

But my roommate was listening to some awful reality show about a dancer in vegas yesterday REALLY LOUDLY and I wanted to stab out my ears.

Oh, and a note on the talent thing. I don't watch the dance/singing/variety ones. I have no desire to watch nobodies I don't know dancing or singing. Especially singing.

I'd want to stab out my ears too. The girls who lived in the room next to mine in the dorms last year used to watch The Hills loudly all the time. X.x

Yeah, I don't watch the singing and dancing either, but I will give them credit for involving people doing an activity and not manufacturing a narrative by following vicious, vacous people around with a camera.

You know, I'd never really thought about it... but Rory Gilmore is! Huh.

She is! I like her a lot, most of the time, but everyone loves her and when something doesn't go perfectly for her it's OH MY GOD THE HUMANITY.

I much prefer her mom, I must say.

Yeah, I tended to like her mother's story arcs more too...

Rory had a couple of really lame ones. Especially in college.
