Warning: I've watched random episodes of CM, catching it when I was at the gym before going back and watching it from the beginning forward, which means that I'm pretty spoiled for a lot of later season but have only seen the first season and now (almost) the second from start to finish. However, assume that I will discuss things from the most recent eps if spoiler-phobic, but it's likely that if you comment about something from later season I might go '?'
-I have a problem relating to Prentiss and the guy who is going to replace Gideon for exactly that reason. They are, respectively, the replacements for characters I was already attached to. Which is a shame, because I think if I had met her before Elle, I would find Prentiss, with her politician mother and her ability to compartmentalize and her glossy dark hair irresistible.
-I love getting to see the team interact in their off hours.
-I think Hotch is a bad father. Yep, I said it. Unlike a superhero who, it can be argued, is literally irreplaceable, the only think stopping him from actually seeing his kid is the fact that he's addicted to his work. I found him continuing at the BAU after his ex-wife horrific murder pretty damn indefensible, frankly. He is, however, freaking adorable. I have so many fond Dharma & Greg memories.
-While I wish we had more trauma!episodes focusing on the ladiez, I really, really like that men are victims of sexual violence. I did not see the sexual abuse in Morgan's past coming but I was very impressed when it appeared.
-And also don't handle torture with the stoicism that is standard for tv. Oh, Reid. Also, CUT YOUR FREAKING HAIR.
