GLEE!

So I'm all caught up with Glee (which took me about a week, which is impressive for me). So ask me questions! Talk to me about this show! Tell me what you ship!

To get us started I've posted my top 5 Glee songs:

Yeah, my sister got ahold of the first season. I already watched it on tv. Jody and I both got hooked at the beginning of the season and would often waste "valuable" work time talking about last night's episode. hee!

I do love that show, and especially Matthew Morrison. Did you know that he played Link in the original broadway cast of Hairspray? He was just that awesome. I have the album somewhere at home... he sang beautifully even back then.

I love love Kurt. I love the relationship between him and his father. I like it when they fix cars together.
I think Artie is flippin' adorable. (apparently he is in a band...)
I could go on...

GLEE~ I've been watching this show since last summer when they aired the pilot, and while it has been a bit of a bumpy ride for me, I'm still big on it and excited for it to come back in April. Kurt, Artie and Rachel are my favorites, and Finn's just really pretty, lol.

As much as I love Will and Matthew Morrison, though, the episode where he finds out Terri isn't pregnant really really hit my squick/DNW DNW button. D: It was borderline spousal abuse, cornering her like that. Terri can still go DIAF, but when I saw that ep, I felt more for her than for Will. And while I was happy for Emma that Will ran after her at the end of Sectionals, I just couldn't root for Will anymore by that point.

If the show doesn't call him on it, either, I'm going to have some serious problems watching GLEE, but it's too addicting to quit, so I don't know what to do. ;_______;

I love Glee! So glad you've found it. My favourite characters are Kurt and Emma, and I wish Mercedes, Artie and especially Tina would get more screen time.

Those four songs are probably in my Top 5 too (can't see what you're fifth one was). And though I do like the "Bust A Move" song itself, I think that the choreography for that scene is brilliant. Kinda made me get over my "Shuster is a white guy singing rap songs and breakdancing" weirdness lol.

I rather like the whole Puck/Rachel/Finn/Quinn mess of friendships and realtionships. I think this is largely because of the way the mid-season finale ended; it gave the two girls a lot of credit and didn't drag anything of the drama out too long. A Quinn/Rachel friendship would be really cool, though I'm not sure that would happen. Tina and Arty are cute too. Emma and Will are... well, she's cute. I really disliked the "secret" marriage storyline a lot though. It was strange and unrealistic (I mean, if she was that unhappy with the pool of possibly boyfriends or with her life she could have gotten a job somewhere else! And using someone like that was rather repulsive), but the finale really redeemed her on that count and I'll be interested to see where the relationship goes from there.

Oh, their music is gorgeous. I loved "Halo", and the "Proud Mary" dance routine (the wheel chairs) was amazing. Plus, that last one got to highlight some singers other than Rachel. Of course, she has an amazing voice. Part of me is really curious if they will do some songs from Spring Awakening, which she was a star in... though that might be weird too, even if "A Bitch of Living" would right up the alley of what they do on the show.

Oh. Oh. MAYBE THIS TIME. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who loves it! It gets shadowed a lot by the Glee performances and the solos. It's the best duo/combo of Glee. Cheno was amazing, and when Lea joined in it was just. GUH.

I love the Boys vs. Girls episode. Those kids on drugs = hilarity. I know it's wrong, but Hyper!Finn and Motormouth!Rachel? Priceless. And even their performances look like it's on drugs. (Sunshine, Optimism, also, ANGELS! Bwah, Rachel Berry, I love you)

I see two of Mercedes' Solo- and WORD. Girl's got PIPES. Hate On Me was so divalicious. I think it's nice that all the girls had different voice ranges (Rachel's got Broadway, Mercedes R&B, Quinn/Tina .. pop?)- it brings variety. And awesomeness.

I think Quinn's voice in You Keep Me Hangin' On was a bit too thin, but she looks adorable. Scratch that, she always look so adorable in performances (sans Keep Holding On, of course)

Here's hoping for more amazing performances in S2. Also for more storylines for those who are not Rachel/Quinn/Puck/Finn/Will/Emma/Terri. I love them, I really do, but there are a lot of characters (that I'm interested in) who need it more.
