This was the episode I didn't even realize I was waiting for.

It was really nice to finally see some fall-out from the Barney/Robin relationship, and that Robin was really affected by it. (Also, it's totally in character that she would hide it.)

I loved the slow realization among the dudes of the cast with how much they'd hurt her without realizing, I thought Jennifer Lopez was a fantastic guest star, and it was really nice to see the softer side of Barney - it's been a while since we have. And I was really surprised he was able to keep his promise - I honestly wasn't expecting that.

I don't usually watch that show but I just happened to watch that episode last night with my roommates! It kinda hit home for me because I know first hand how cruel guys can be and how oblivious they sometimes are when they do it.

*nods*

I liked that they showed the guys grocking how bad they were, because that doesn't usually happen IRL.

I wasn't expecting this episode to be as touching as it was. It reminded me of what really sets this show apart from other sitcoms. And particularly, what sets Barney apart from sleazeball characters like Charlie Harper. (Seriously, can Two and Half Men just be cancelled already?)

Me too. Especially Barney's reaction.

Yes! The characters all have their moments of poignancy. They aren't just walking jokes.

It was pretty priceless.
