Oh God, My Brain. My Evil, Evil Brain

Okay, you know the into to Castle, episode six? Where Castle is energetically boinking a long haired readhead whose face we can't see? Oh god, my brain thought - there was that split second - I can't even type it out.

I'll be hiding under my desk now.

. . . not on network TV.

I KNOW THAT.

It was just this horrible thought that now can't be unthought.

*raises eyebrow*

LOL Whut?

There's two places you could go with that; and both of them are just horrible.

So I'm picking magical option #3: You thought it was Willow, and now I'm moving on.

Heh heh heh. ::waggles eyebrows::

I second that.

*blushes*

(Great icon, btw.)

What's the SECOND place I could go with that?

But magical option three is a good option. A really good option.

Do you really, really want me to explain?

I'm happy to say I had to think very, very hard to realize what you were getting at.

Also, the handling of the character in question made me rather happy. (I think I was watching the last ep. of the season when you posted on the first ep, but never got around to commenting.)

I've been trying to analyze the situation and find out what would BUG RED THIS MUCH, unfortunately, it pushed by reasoning capabilities to the point of breaking.

So yes, please (unless it seriously bothers you).

Castle has a daughter with long, straight red hair (and a completely realistic and unsquickly relationship with her) yet when I saw him in a sex scene with a woman with long, straight, red hair (who we find out is Alexis' mother, and thus supposed to look very similar to her) my mind went to a very, very bad place.

That is because your brain doesn't hate you.

I'm coming out of the shadows to say something.
Red, you are my LJ crush.

Also, when I saw that scene of Castle for the first time, I noticed that almost every character is a red head. Even Beckett's hair has a reddish tint, especially in the early episodes. I'm fairly certain there's a character analysis in there somewhere.

At the very least I think it's safe to say that Castle definitely has a type.
