The past couple of days I started feeling very nostalgic for my old-school fandoms.
Like, yesterday I was wondering if in the two? three? years since I've been out of Saiyuki, has anyone written any new Yaone het?
And also, I was reminiscing about the days prior to Avatar's finale and the casting!fail of the movie, when Suki was climbing up walls and my love for Zutara burned like a fiery heart.

I assumed it wasn't going to be as good as the show, simply because Avatar has too much story to condense and remakes are never as good as the original... but I didn't expect it to be racist or to be as actively BAD as unbiased observers seem to make it out to be.
