I'm talking about Burn Notice. There is a scene where the main female character has to kiss a man (not her boyfriend) as cover, and then another scene where a man (different man, still not her boyfriend) grabs her and manhandles her against a wall so she doesn't go off and kill someone. It was hot.

100% agree with your subject line, if it is in reference to Fiona and Jesse; I actually burst out laughing during their godawful kiss, because I thought it was supposed to be bad, and then they both acted so weird afterward and I was like HOLY CRAP! That was supposed to have been ~*meaningful*~! WHAT.

On the other hand, I really, really enjoyed Fiona and Sam's con. I laughed basically forever.

I was. I actually liked the kiss - Jesse's wtf Fiona tongue, okay cool Fiona tongue reaction worked for me, but I thought the aftermath was other the top. It's one thing for Jesse to be all weird about it given that he's crushing on her, but surely Fi has made out with people as cover before.
