If I was guessing based on the first season, I'd say Elena/Stefan appeared to be end-game stuff, so I wouldn't expect otherwise. As for what I want... I kinda want them both to die or leave because eventually their presence in her life is going to get her killed or (worse) turned, probably within a few years if we are being realistic. But during the show, I want some eventual D/E makeouts when they have been well-earned.

I would support Stefen/Elena or Stefen/other because as characters go, I like Stefan well enough. They're not as sizzling as D/E has been lately, but they're not boring yet either.
