Took A Sip From My Devil's Cup

There were a couple of pretty problematic things in this week's Glee. In descending order: Will>rape joke>Rachel x Finn.

HOWEVER THE REST THE EPISODE WAS THE HOTEST THING I HAVE SEEN ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN IN WEEKS.

SERIOUSLY, BRIT'S ACTRESS WAS SMOKING AND THE DANCING AND THE SONG AND AFJ DLASDJFLK;ADJS LFADJSLKFJALSD;FJKLADSJFSADLJKFADSFJLK.

I TOTALLY WANT TO BE PART OF A LESBIAN THREESOME WITH BRITTANY AND SANTANA. I'D BUY YOU BREADSTICKS FOREVER, GIRLS.

SO FUCKING HOT MY GOD.

I want to do so many naughty things to Brittany. I just. that woman. my god is she fine.

SO FINE.

Especially once I've read an interview with the actress and know the dumb blonde look is ALL an act.

YES. I love seeing her in interviews outside of the show, and going, "OH HEY, she's actually smart and sweet and sarcastic and awesome and OH MY GOD please marry me."

I didn't find her hot OR funny until I found out how smart the actress was. And then I was like, okay, now I can enjoy you, Brittany.

I'm still a bit confused as to what we're supposed to think about Rachel/Finn. I've never shipped them, too bland, though I haven't been militantly against them either, but now I just don't get it. It doesn't seem like a particularly healthy or honest relationship regardless of the fact that they patched things up for this particular ep.

Also, is it just me or is anyone else annoyed by the way Emma talks? It drives me insane. She seems to talk through clenched teeth or something and it grates on me so much that I feel like I might break out in hives or develop a twitch in one of my eyes or something. Is that the way the actress talks in real life?

I know. Usually a series couple is written with a little less fail in the relationship. Or at least less blatant fail.

Personally I find just about everything she does adorable.

to me it sounds like she has a retainer in or something. It used to drive me crazy, and I still don't like it very much (JUST. ENUNCIATE. WITH LESS SPIT.), but Emma has endeared herself to me so I tolerate it.

The part. where she came forward. with the snake. and HIPS. My brain basically spontaneously combusted.

For me it was when she was dancing with we hair in that badass suit.

SANTANA AND BRITTANY SHOULD JUST BE SEXY AND GAY ALL THE TIME. PERIOD. HOLY CRAP.

also this episode made me love Finn to pieces, and I think I figured it out--he's the most consistent character on the series. You can always count on him to be really dumb yet perceptive, and to try to do the right thing.

Rachel/Finn would strike me as adorable if I had any faith it would die in the giant fiery explosion it deserves. Instead, it's just screwed up.

and Will is the most idiotic/needing to be slapped with sexual harrassment and I just want to free his character from the writers. I thought the last song did a fantastic job of showing how ridiculous it is to have the teacher/adults going through the same dramatic relationship crap as the teenagers. With the teenagers, it's kind of funny and relateable; with Will creeping on Carl (OMG CARL) and Emma, it's just sad and creepy.

COME ON WRITERS. STOP TRYING TO SHIP WILL WITH ANYONE, AND JUST KEEP WRITING ME SUE/WILL FRENEMIES SCENES, THEY ARE MY FAVORITE.

Yeah, usually I can see what the writers are TRYING to do even if they're not managing it, and this time I just.. can't.

True. Only I miss any 'sad' and go straight to 'CREEPY' with Will. Like, for a line time I was all 'whatevs, I don't see what all you Will-haters are seeing' and then he tried to seduce Sue and now I am like WILL YOU ARE A SLUT.

Confession: I have never watched Glee before, but I watched this one for the Britney music and HOLY CRAP. :DDDDD

The first song with the blonde girl doing all the Britney costume shash up was just... Wow. And the Me Against the Music? Awesome.

(Anything plot related made no sense, but I'm ok with that.)

Oh, yeah, the songs this episode were so awesome that context is totally unnecessary.
