As I stated before I usually understand why people ship a pairing, even if I totally can't see it on an emotional level.

When Monica asks Chandler to marry her. With the candles and the not quite being able to finish proposing. I still remember watching that and gasping when Chandler opens to the door and she's just standing there waiting for him.

I think I might need to troll your deviantart favorites. >D OH and I finally read that Draco/Neville fic, and wow, you were totally right. I think my favorite part of it (besides the mental image of Draco baking and that's so perfect with his skill at potions and poor kid, his family just SUCKS) was the characterization of Lucius. Maybe it's just because I've been watching a LOT of Jason Isaacs movies lately, but Lucius keeps rising in regard in my mind. And his level of awful, dickish abusiveness in this fic was just perfect. The moment where Neville comes in and beats the shit out of Lucius was SO. SATISFYING. I was crossing my fingers and going, "Come home, Neville, come home!" and then WHAM. Yes. That was great. Thanks for the rec!

And his level of awful, dickish abusiveness in this fic was just perfect. The moment where Neville comes in and beats the shit out of Lucius was SO. SATISFYING. I was crossing my fingers and going, "Come home, Neville, come home!" and then WHAM. Yes. That was great.

It was! Actually, one thing that kind of cracks me up regarding that fic is how much (especially on reread) is how much it feels like a regency romance - we've got the delicate heroine, the husky and true hero, the evil, abusive father....
