The first season of Community was so enjoyable and so good, that I am honestly apprehensive when a new episode of season two airs, dreading that this will be the episode where the show jumps the shark.

However, that episode is not this episode.

What really, really stood out to me was Jeff describing his parents divorce, especially because it totally dove-tails with what he told Annie at the end of last season, about how he grew up and stopped caring, but that she doesn't have to.

Speaking of Annie, I adored Jeff's friend perving on her, the caper with Abed and Troy, and her being so willing to chloroform that janitor.

(On the subject of Troy and Abed, I ADORED their ending tag being bitter instead of sweet this time around. It was so tragic it was funny.)

Everybody just clicked this episode (in part because they had NO romantic shenanigans, it was just people's personalities bouncing off of each other).

Also, as a Jeff/Annie shipper, I found a lot of stuff I could read into without explicit references that could only lead to storylines that suck. That's what I like! Keep it up, writers!

Yep. I absolutely loved this episode while I didn't like the premiere. That seems to be an unpopular opinion judging by the fandom reaction to both eps, though. I'm a J/A shipper too and I enjoyed this one even from a shipper's perspective, though I have no clue why. I think maybe because I liked the way Annie was written. She was pretty much awesome in every scene.

Yes to more Abed/Annie/Troy capers. Everything with them was pure win. OMG! The chloroform scene! That scene alone deserves an Emmy for....I dunno, something.

And that was probably one of the best Troy/Abed end tags they've done IMO. "I may have done some damage there." LOL.

She was! And I think the more time the group spends just interacting, the more natural romantic relationships seem, in some ways.

Gee, Abed, do you think?
