I am so out of practice with drabbles. I keep picking ideas that are much too plotty for a hundred words.

I always feel a need to provide BACKSTORY. Which negates the purpose of the drabble. Le sob.

Yeah, in a drabble you have space for, like, a sentence of backstory, if that.
