Okay, whoever it was who uploaded Lost Girl icons recently really needs to share. Because I'm only 15 minutes into the pilot but and my own affection for this show already kind of scares me.

There have been a lot of icons posted to the show community. Though I'm largely current on eps (haven't seen this week's yet) they seem to be good about not putting spoiler icons outside of cuts.

Also, there have been no vampires yet (unless there's one in ep 6) unless the head of the Light side is one (which I suspect...I hope Morrigan isn't because [a] cliche and [b] I want her to have ties to the mythic Morrigan). If you aren't there yet, we learn what Dyson is in ep 3.

Thank you! And I'm not to episode three yet. Is Dyson the white fae cop?

I would be so disappointed if she doesn't. And the costuming for her (at least in the first episode) reminded me delightfully of Bill's maker on True Blood.

Dyson is the frequently shirtless white cop. His partner is Hale.

I actually doubt we'll have vampires in the series, or at least, not for a while. Or if we do, they'll go by another one of their names. While most of it is fairly normal urban fantasy, it seems to be trying to actively avoid some of the most common tropes, and has also had several direct genre meta references.

A description that bodes well for the show.

Interesting. I look forward to those.
