Unpopular Opinions Meme!

Give me a fandom and I'll tell you three unpopular opinions about it. If you give me a show/book/movie/etc that I'm not fannishly active about, I'll give you three things I dislike about the media in question instead.

3 Things I Dislike About BtVS

1.) Xander

2.) The way Buffy's relationship with Riley was resolved. Or not.

3.) How (realistically, admittedly) they made Dawn. I think that was a tactical error.

1) Oh Xander. When he and Willow are actual uncomplicated childhood bffs it's cute, though.

2) If by "Riley" you mean Dirtbag :P The whole end of the Riley arc is just... No.

3) What part of Dawn specifically do you dislike? It was a liitle jarring how she was just suddenly there in the storyline, for sure. (I had missed a week back in the day and was so f-ing confused when all of a sudden Buffy has a sister... And nobody thinks there's anything weird going on/wrong with that. Very wtf moment lol.)

...I think it was a huge help for Buffy to have Dawn after Joyce dies/B comes back from the dead IMO though.

I almost threw up when Buffy ran after him.

What part of Dawn specifically do you dislike?

I found her a too-accurate representation of a bratty little sister. I knew she was hated by fandom and thus wanted to like her, but in her introductory arc, I just found her really annoying, even if that was realistic to her relationship with Buffy at that time in both of their lives. I feel that making Dawn SUCH a realistic little sis was a bit of a misstep on the part of the writers.
