You are hereby forbidden from writing Stefan x Katherine until you can learn how to do it properly.

(It's not that I find this pairing totally unbelievable: we know that at one point Stefan was a lot less well-adjusted, so there could be a vampire inside of him who'd find Katherine's m.o. really appealing, but we also have been shown over and over again that a.) Stefan loves Elena b.) Stefan is more likely to be self-destructive than homicidal and c.) Katherine doesn't love love love him either. So freaking deal with with these issues when you write S/K instead of having him prance off with her without a backward glance in an attempt to excuse/justify Elena's relationship with Damon.)
