I am unbelievably frustrated by Misfits acting like the ensemble remember what happened in the last episode. Curtis rewound time. That means that none of it happened. (And as frustrating as I found that, it doesn't mean the writers are free to ignore their world building.)

It took me a minute to figure out that Nikki is not unwillingly teleporting when she orgasmed. And once I did, my first thought was to laugh at poor Curtis, who keeps getting girlfriends whose powers give them problems with sex. Of course, they're both smokin', so maybe it balances out?

Alisha and Simon were, ngl, adorable, but I'm still bitter over how they got together. Simon practicing parkour and falling off things was adorable but I really want Alisha to have more active things to do. That's why I was really, really happy that Alisha went to get her powers taken away (making decisions! doing things!) and especially that it (unlike in the stupid third X-Men movie) was, arguably, a really fucking unethical thing to do.

My response to Nathan and preggers!girl: Look, preggers!girl, you're probably horribly horny, so go for it, but I certainly hope you used a condom (or two) given that Nathan is a dirty slut.

I found Alisha's dialogue after she had her power removed and was talking with Simon so hurtful and she doesn't even realize it. Oh god Simon.

Oh, man, Alisha. I know exactly why she's doing what she's doing but what she's saying to Simon and why she's saying it is all so very maladjusted.

Also, Curtis is an idiot for giving up his powers. IDIOT. I'm going to be pissed if Nikki stays dead.

I am really sad that Simon caved to peer pressure and gave up his powers but I must admit, it is rather in character.

I think my favorite moment was when Simon went, "I'm going to kill Jesus," and without missing a beat Alisha replies, "Then I'm going with you." Because nothing brings a couple closer than premeditated revenge.

Okay, for a second season ender, getting new powers if FUCKING BRILLIANT. Oh, man, I can't wait. I am especially curious to see what power Alisha gets. Also, I'm really glad that we got confirmation that there WILL be a third season.

I agree. I was waiting for the show to touch upon the fact that Alisha's whole drive to be in a relationship with Simon is based on her expectation that he's going to become a drastically different person. I can't imagine the pressure of having to live up to yourself. Once I rewatched the scene of Simon practicing parkour after my initial post-viewing high wore off, I realized just how frustrated he is after his fall, and my heart broke a little. Poor Simon.

I loved that so much. And I loved how Simon does not object at all. They are a kickass couple through and through.

I am especially curious to see what power Alisha gets.

Me too! I want her to have a really kickass power so badly.

Agreed. Honestly, I think that was why the sex was so bad the first time (for Simon). Because think how stressful that must be! And I'm so glad that the problems with Alisha being with future!Simon first caused/are causing in her present relationship.

Same here! Did I mention my ideas to you already? Do you have any ideas about what powers she'll get?

Very good point!

I'm not entirely sure why, but I can't get the idea of her being pyrokinetic out of my mind.

What are your ideas?

That would be awesome, as long as she's not a touch-pyrokinetic (I imagine she isn't going to want anything trigger with touch.) As for me, I'm thinking it's most likely Simon will get immunity from other people's powers (or super agility, or keep his invisibility, which I'm kind of rooting for). I had the image of Alisha asking Simon what powers she should get, and in that case I think he'd suggest invulnerability, which would be awesome but is probably too close to Nathan's immortality to happen.

I think that the only way Simon wouldn't take his invisibility back is if the power was unavailable. The way I see it, he not only feels that his power is a part of him, but I think he feels that he's deviated from what was supposed to happen had he kept his invisibility. I think he feels that he's supposed to have this particular power, so I would find it at least a little odd if he opted for another one. Not that I'm completely opposed to the idea of him getting a new power. It would explain why future!Simon never used invisibility, which has kind of baffled me since the reveal. In that case, super agility certainly makes sense.

I can so see that happening. Who better to ask than genre-savvy Simon?

Also, do you have any ideas about what power Kelly might get? I'm quite curious about her as well since I doubt that she'll go back to being a mind reader.

You know, I agree with that (and I love it, because it really ties into Simon as a genre fan, and how he views or wants to view himself). The only reason I think he might get another power is that future him could touch Alisha.

Not a fucking clue, but I'm curious.

Yes! I was like "Oh Alisha ILU, but stop talking please!" She didn't seem to realize that what she said probably added to Simon's insecurities. I loved it from a story point of view, though. The writers gave them conflict without it being just for the sake of drama.

I had the exact same reaction and I loved it for that reason as well; it was drama that needed to happen and was just so inherent to the characters.
