~Oh, Helen. Raylan is going to FLIP. And frankly, I really hope she's dead – because as awesome as she is her death raises the stakes and makes it deeply, deeply personal for Raylan.

~ Speaking of Raylan going off the rails, I seriously expected him to kill some folk this episode. Either Duffy or Gary or both.

~All of Dickie's scenes creeped me out. So much.

~ I really enjoyed Winona this episode and loved her and Gary and Tim and Rachel all sitting around watching a movie together. And the awkwardness of Tim and Rachel very pointedly not looking at either Raylan or Winona as they talked. Frankly, I feel like Raylan is burning some bridges with his coworkers, especially with Tim, which could get him in trouble later.

~Why is it so much fun to watch Boyd being a criminal? A clever, polite one to boot? I don't know, but it's a mite worrisome.

~I feel like Helen's words to Ava are foreshadowing; either of the fact that ignorance isn't safety or of the fact that Ava is going to be put into danger by Boyd's activities. Although honestly, I think she's in the most danger from Johnny at the moment... this episode made me think he had an ax to grind with her over Bowman's death.

~To end on a shipping note:

(Bless you, tumblr.)

Oh my god. Boyd and Ava. They just slay me. Boyd teasing her with regards to the whores and then acquiescing to her wishes. The art department remembering his tattoos. Boyd's gaspes when she reached under the covers. Their freaking body language. The way he touches her so gently at the cabin and the way they just end up holding hands as if they didn't even think about it.
