Five Favorite Fics Featuring Ladies Topping The Hell Out Of Their Lovers
P is For Press (Naruto, Sai/Sakura)
She straddles him, her hands pinning his wrists to the mattress, her weight pressing down on him, until he is dizzy and breathless - or maybe his shortness of breath and disorientation are due to Sakura's lips nuzzling along his jaw, dropping quick kisses along his jawline, his lips.
"Open your mouth," she orders huskily, the tip of her tongue tracing his bottom lip.
He does, gasping as she slanted her mouth more firmly against his lips, her tongue slipping inside to touch his.
You Know I'm No Good (Naruto, Ino/Sakura)
"Yeah," Ino breathed, sliding a hand down between Sakura's thighs. She was still damp from her and Kiba's previous rutting but Ino didn't get sloppy. She carefully parted Sakura's folds, circled clit with her thumb, loving the way Sakura jerked against her. She listened, waiting until Sakura's breathing was quick and then stopped.
Sakura's breath caught a little in disappointment, even as she spread her legs wider.
You're An Animal, Too (True Blood, Jessica/Tommy, sort-of Jessica/Summer)
Tommy snuck behind a bush, debated shifting into something to sneak a bit closer. But he could see her pretty good already and he saw everything perfectly when Jessica suddenly appeared in front of Summer and shoved her back against the tree.
"Don't make a sound," she ordered.
Yes, ma'am, Tommy thought as Summer nodded obediently.
Ain't Too Proud To Beg (Glee, Rachel/Jesse)
"Did you come here to gloat?" he asks. (Trite dialogue, he thinks.)
"Don't be trite, Jesse," Rachel says, looking smug and virtuous. "My reasons for coming are twofold: as a favor to my biological mother and because I've decided to give you a chance to win me back."
She lifts her chin.
"You think I want you back?" Jesse sneers, and finally, finally he nails it: his voice is amused and cruel and sexy.
Rachel sticks out her chin, gives him the beat of silence, and Jesse steps forward, belts out the opening lines of "Ain't Too Proud To Beg."
(I just want to note here that I've also written a pegging fic with this pairing, where Rachel is quite literally topping Jesse; but I felt that this one was a teeny bit more satisfying given that Jesse is being emotionally vulnerable instead of sexually/physically.)
Oh, No, You're Not The One For Me (Justified, Ava/Boyd)
He rocked forward, cupping her hips, pulling her against him. When their lips parted, Ava was breathing harder than she'd expected and Boyd's eyes were closed.
"As pleasurable as kissing you was–" he started with resignation.
She put a hand over his mouth. His eyes opened, met hers, and when they did, Ava tossed her head, just a little, and bit her lip, just for a moment. She heard Boyd swallow.
"Shhh," she said, real low.
She hooked her index fingers in the loops of his jeans, started backing toward the couch, and he didn't say a word, just set himself to undoing the buttons of her dress, pop, pop, pop, and then he was pulling it down, baring her shoulders.
In each of these fanfics, there is clearly one particular lady who is taking charge of the proceedings; what's interesting is why. In P is for Press Sai is bumping up against his limitations; Sakura is taking the lead here because Sai barely realizes he wants a sexual relationship with her; he'd have no damn idea how to go about it.
In You Know I'm No Good, Ino is dominating the hell out of Sakura partially as a punishment (how dare you not pick me) and partially to show her what she's missing (I could love you so much better).
You're An Animal, Too is another instance of sexual control (expressed by Jessica very erotically feeding off of her ex-boyfriend's current girlfriend) being used a punishment but we also get a glimpse of Tommy wanting submit to Jessica (because, with his background, I think he'd really get off on the attention paid to a submissive).
With Ain't Too Proud To Beg, I really enjoyed having Jesse put himself in a super-vulnerable place before Rachel – and using the language with the most currency and power in their world, music.
In Oh, No, You're Not The One For Me (and sweet jesus, can I please stop having long titles from songs? just for a change) there are a couple things going on in Ava's head: she's horny, she's got a cultural mindset that says being without a man is bad, she's committing a twisty 'screw you' to the gossips of Harlan county, and she's been told over and over that her most valuable commodity is her beauty. In the snippet above Ava is very, very deliberately seducing Boyd, because I don't think she could stand to have him refuse her at that moment. And I suspect that if Boyd had been paying attention to her instead of his book, early in the fic, things might have turned out differently.
