I just reread that scene in the book. Honestly, I think I prefer the way the tv show played it.
But to return to the point, what WOULDN'T Stefan do better than Bill? I mean, seriously. But yeah, I'm sure Stefan would either think to bring a blanket, or make sure that Elena was on top so she didn't get scratches on her back....
Seeing how terrible Bill/Sookie was in the show (not that I've read the books) made me just give up on the show right there. Of course, I think that's when it apparently shifted to other things but the damage was done.
I imagine Boyd, especially with Ava, would be pretty vanilla. They have so much violence in the rest of their lives that I imagine in bed they'd both be pretty sweet to each other.
Jessica, on the other hand, I tend to go for bloodplay.
Well, it's canon that Jeff likes nipple-play... and I imagine that once Annie has explored sex a bit more, she's come to really like topping with some light bondage.
I'm honestly not sure.... I always figured that she has a string of boyfriend who were Nice Guys but kind of judgmental and didn't do much experimentation in bed.
You know, I don't quite know either. I was thinking sensory deprivation, maybe the calligraphy-on-skin kink with actual magical properties, like a heating or chilling spell or something that increases tactile sensation.

For Cara, I think it would be fun to do some consensual heavy-BDSM, because she's canonically wired for that to a certain extent.
Faith I think you can write just about any kink for and get away with it.
