So, I posted this weekend, and then accidentally put my post under private. It's now friends-locked here.
And after all that happened, I went to Cassis on Friday, which was fabulous - Cassis looks like every little Mediterranean town you see in the movies, and I spent the day lying on the beach reading.
It was beyond heavenly.

And don't worry about it - I have about a billion things I haven't posted yet because of internet issues and getting doc files in the right font so they don't look horrific when I past them into lj... And I almost wish you hadn't gotten it considering that I reread it today and oh my god where there some typos.

If it makes you feel any better, I've been catching a number of typos in the Dresden books, of all things. I think they need to fire the editor.
Hell, when you posted a line from EL1 that you liked, I caught a typo there. XD

Apart from the standard typos and sentences that don't read correctly or are really bad fragments, etc, etc. I mean, as writers, we all do it. But that's what professional editors are for. And hell, what are they paying this guy for??

I'm imagining my mother readint this - dear god she's have SUCH things to say about the editor.
And apparently, they're paying him for nothing. Goddamn I want that job.

Remind me (if you remember...)
In the first book, after Dresden really pisses off Bianca... Wasn't the name of her assistant that she starts feeding on (and ultimately devours completely) Paula?
Because Paula gets mentioned again during the masquerade....and then the ghost that shows up later, that was supposedly the assistant is named Rachel.... Was it just because I was sick and missed something or did the editor totally miss that one?

Jim hardly remembered most of the book (though I didn't ask him about the Paula thing....I wonder if Nate might remember though....)
