*clears throat*

So, I posted this weekend, and then accidentally put my post under private. It's now friends-locked here.

And after all that happened, I went to Cassis on Friday, which was fabulous - Cassis looks like every little Mediterranean town you see in the movies, and I spent the day lying on the beach reading.

It was beyond heavenly.

...and you didn't ask for that rant, sorry.

*ahem* Must I pop you? I think we equally rant to each other. Don't even worry about it, hon.

One of my old roommates was like that. She'd promise to buy the next round of toilet paper, and we'd be using napkins before I would break down and buy it.

And even now, I'm not the one solely responsible. That's why Jim and I go to the store together.

The CEA comes up and checks on your room?

Have you kicked them into checking on that WiFi you're paying for lately?

Two weeks alone will be very nice, I'm sure. Because at least, in that instant, it's your mess and your mess alone to clean. No more cleaning up after her.

Oh, for the most part, I suck at positive thinking. I know it. I dare not try to pretend I'm a positive person - I know otherwise. :D

btw, I'd be throwing her bag of dirty clothes on her bed when she's not in the room. If she questions, I'd say it was in the way of the door (if that's the case anyway...doors not opening all the way are a strange pet peeve of mine...)

"ahem* Must I pop you?"

Would that be any way to treat your romantically inclinded boyfriend?

And yeah, being soley responsible for that kind of thing sucks. I'm used to either being responsibe for what I use (i.e. college) or it being a partnership (i.e. at home with mom.)

I'm not used to this leech.

I'm not paying for wifi - they normally take the money out of my saftey deposite, which I don't get until two months after I leave, and I'm going to make damn sure before I go that they know not to charge me.

Sometimes I'm really good at positive thinking. Othertimes, not so much.

And I do. Whenever I go to do excises, I move it to her side of the room, were it lingers for a while, and then she moves it back.

*smiles passive agressively*

And it's not so much that it blocks the door, it's that it takes up a chunck of 'my' space and there is no reason why she should keep her dirty clothes on my side of the room. Especially when she has a perfectly good top of the closet to keep them.

*snort* Maybe that's my problem with Jim. Maybe I pop him too much. XD

I was lucky enough to never have to share a room prior to marriage. (Now I share a bed and discovered this morning, as I lay awake, part of my sleeping issue - I seem to get kneed in the back quite a bit.) But I did have to share communal space, and dear god....I stayed in my room most of the time. They could not/would not keep it clean. And I finally got to the point that I refused to do it for them, just so they could turn around and trash it an hour later.

I know being in the same bedroom is a different story, but dear god, I would have gone postal by now.

*racks shotgun*

Who says I haven't? Your roomates sound horrific, by the way.

And I have no idea what to say about the sleeping in the same bed thing - but that line about getting kneed in the back cracked me up. Poor baby.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:04 pm (UTC)(link)
*snort*

Yeah, it wasn't like it was terribly painful, or even enough to wake me up...but it was enough to keep me awake as I was already thoroughly irritated that it was 4 in the morning and I couldn't get back to sleep.

Yay! Doctor's appointment in 2 hours!

Course, this means I likely won't get back to sleep....oh well.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope they give your marvolous drugs that work wonders.

But, I'm here. Who needs sleep?

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee, this is true. You going to be around a while?

(Still no clue what your class schedule is like, though I suppose it's 5 over there, so you wouldn't have class anymore today would you?)

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I have another fourty minutes before I get kicked out of the computer lab.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I'll be here then. Especially now. I'm not getting back in bed where Tessa can stick her face in mine.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I would think not.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)
DAMMIT.

I put the dog out for a few in hopes that she'd stop whining for a bit.

I finally have to go outside and call her to get her to come back and her face is covered in mud and cat shit. (And we just gave her a bath yesterday too.)

This really isn't my day.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah....I can't smell much, but I can smell the cat shit.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Lovely.

Because god forbid 'sick' come with any advantages

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah.....can't say that it does.

Although, having Jim clean the kitchen for the most part (with the exception of the other counter and the table, though the table is mostly my shit anyway) might be construed as an advantage. XD

Even if I do feel a little guilty that I couldn't help...

Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Nice.

And I wouldn't have felt guilty at all. Suprise, suprise.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:49 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL, I know I shouldn't have because 9 times out of 10, I'm the one doing it anyway.

But something about sitting useless on the couch makes me feel guilty that I can't do shit.

Whether or not I should.

Course, I guess I'll call it payback when he kept kneeing me in the back last night.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait until he's done cleaning AND has brought you hot soup on the couch. Then call it even.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha, no I did the soup myself.

Dammit, where's Hakkai when you need him?

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know, but I called dibs a long, long time ago.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, I thought we were sharing? XD

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
*sigh*

Oh all right. But I get first go.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Fair enough. :D

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Just because this was the first comment I saw in my inbox...

If you happen to be on again today in the next hour, I'm home sick again (Upper respiratory infection. Joy.) So I'll be up working on EL.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Poor baby! That sucks so hard.

But yay! On EL.

And I'll be one for another 45 minutes. And am supposed to be having a back and forth via e-mail with my mother, only she vanished right after she send me an e-mail saying she didn't have to rush off to work. *grumbles*

And did I mention that I'm sick as well? Yep, sore throat, and that nice, nice full -head sinus pressure headach.
