*clears throat*

So, I posted this weekend, and then accidentally put my post under private. It's now friends-locked here.

And after all that happened, I went to Cassis on Friday, which was fabulous - Cassis looks like every little Mediterranean town you see in the movies, and I spent the day lying on the beach reading.

It was beyond heavenly.

LOL, I know I shouldn't have because 9 times out of 10, I'm the one doing it anyway.

But something about sitting useless on the couch makes me feel guilty that I can't do shit.

Whether or not I should.

Course, I guess I'll call it payback when he kept kneeing me in the back last night.

Wait until he's done cleaning AND has brought you hot soup on the couch. Then call it even.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-22 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha, no I did the soup myself.

Dammit, where's Hakkai when you need him?

I don't know, but I called dibs a long, long time ago.

Hey, I thought we were sharing? XD

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

*sigh*

Oh all right. But I get first go.

Fair enough. :D

I'm glad you agree. (Because I could totally take you. Especially now, that you're practically asmatic, and I have 2 months of suppressed rage on my side.)

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL geeeez....

I'll even gift wrap him for you. XD

And that is why you are just a much better person than I am.

Hey, I was taught to share. :D So share I will. And if you need him a little more than I do (which it certainly seems like), you should get first dibs.

btw, did you get the email?

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes I did, and I'm greatly looking forward to reading it tonight.

See, I was taught to share, but despite the best my mother can do, bottem line, I'm possessive as all hell.

And yet, you shared the Gojyo doll with her while you're gone. (Course, I'm sure it would have been a different story had you stayed in the states XD)

Just because this was the first comment I saw in my inbox...

If you happen to be on again today in the next hour, I'm home sick again (Upper respiratory infection. Joy.) So I'll be up working on EL.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Poor baby! That sucks so hard.

But yay! On EL.

And I'll be one for another 45 minutes. And am supposed to be having a back and forth via e-mail with my mother, only she vanished right after she send me an e-mail saying she didn't have to rush off to work. *grumbles*

And did I mention that I'm sick as well? Yep, sore throat, and that nice, nice full -head sinus pressure headach.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh lord, you too, huh? It's certainly going around.

Actually, I was tempted to send you an email....I wrote that scene we discussed a couple weeks ago, where Kou figures it out. Very Dresden inspired, but I'm really happy with it, especially for the first pounding out.

Now if only the rest of it would write so easily and well.... *sigh*

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeild to temptation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, if only all of our fics would write as easily as those brillant scenes where inspiration hits.

And yes, unfortunately me to.

Sent.

Well, hopefully you'll kick yours quickly. I wound up getting a flu shot yesterday too, so now I'm feeling that (and not just the bruise in my left arm....)

I've been going back through some of the areas that I still need to fill out, and add scenes and such (like the last scene for chapter three....kinda started chapter four, but nothing is really flowing well. Curse you and your need for random ninja attacks! XD) But they just aren't flowing as well as that one did. It just came sailing out without having to think much about it.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:39 pm (UTC)(link)
What doesn't love a random ninja attack? Although with me it's usually ghosts.

You poor, poor thing.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh, yeah, but you see, I have all this other stuff that needs to get written (aside from the lovely smut) and all my muse wants to write right now is angst. Which, after the emailed scene, will be an angst-fest and a half, but all the same, that's pretty late in the fic. I have plenty to write between now and then and none of it wants to play nice.

As long as Tessa settles down, I should hopefully be getting some more sleep today. I'm glad I called in again, even if I really need to be working. But dammit, I don't want to infect the entire store if this is more than just a sinus infection...

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:54 pm (UTC)(link)
So is it not playing nice because you don't want to write smut, or not playing nice because you don't know what you want to write?

(and if I suddenly vanish, it's cause I got kicked off the computer.)

Hell, even if it's 'just' a sinus infection, do you really want to be working? You need to lie down and rest.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2007-10-23 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't WANT to be working, but I could be working, because I have shit to do this week.

And it's a little of both. Mostly because I don't quite know what to write at the moment without making huge time jumps, which I'm not really keen on at the moment, but if this keeps up, I justmight have to.

Re: Farmboy, brush my horse. Farmboy, polish my saddle.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2007-10-24 12:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, time jumps... that's one reason I like writing one shots. With those, you don't have to worry about whether or not you're boring the readers, or if the skip ahead confused them, or whatever.

But I'm sure you'll do fine, whatever you decide to write.
