I Wanna Be Unspoiled But

I am one of those people who likes to be surprised - my enjoyment of a plot twist et cetera is greatly enhanced by not knowing it's coming.

THAT SAID.

Regarding Sansa Stark:will someone please tell me if she did something epic in the latest book? Or it was hinted that she was going to lead Winterfell in Robb's place? I know that she was the vehicle to poison Joffrey and that she went into hiding but did GRR Martin let her live up to her potential?

OK so at the end of the third book we have Sansa and Littlefinger in the Vale of Arryn. In the fourth book we learn that Littlefinger's big plan is basically to rule the north and east by crowning Sansa - eventually they will reveal her identity as the heir of Winterfell (at the moment she is posing as his bastard daughter). At the same time, she is engaged to a distant relative of the Arryns who is Robert Arryn's (the little boy seen breastfeeding at like age eight in the first season) heir. Basically if Littlefinger's plan is successful Sansa would be Warden of the North AND of the East.

At the same time we get the impression that Sansa is slowly letting go of her naive ideas of the world and learning to play the game of thrones. Nothing has happened to Littlefinger yet, but my fervent hope is that he dies by Sansa's hand in a case of the apprentice beating the master.

Heh. Mine too! I am rooting so, so hard for his premature and violent end as her way to power / revenge for her murdered relatives (after all, he betrayed Ned and also seems to enjoy "punishing" Cat for not falling in love with him).

That is one reason I really enjoyed Littlefinger and Sansa's interactions in the first season - because I definitely felt like he was subsuming his love for Cat with Sansa in this weird way.

Sansa/Littlefinger is so beautifully fucked up. I loooooove it.

Ahhhh, okay, that makes a ton of sense.

SAME HERE. God, that would be so amazing.
