Oh my god, everything to do with the Huntsman and the show's mythology for him is COMPLETELY LOL-INDUCING.

I found Graham completely impossible to take seriously AT ALL. Animals are noble, blah blah blah. Seriously, I hold people who are supposed to be 'adept at murder' to higher standards than this. Also, why would you be getting drunk and trying to have conversations about your ~secret affair~ at Granny's? In front of everyone? While TALKING LOUDLY? That said, his death scene was well done. And I wish it had been a surprise.

Sidenote: I have never liked Emma more. She was totally speaking for the audience (or at least me) when she was all, "I don't want to be in the middle of this, what the hell is wrong with you, you're adults, NO ONE CARES, omg."

And Mary Margaret! Failing at one-night-stands. Go for you girl. Trying to have meaningless sex is exactly how I like my heroines to get over heartbreak.

I wish his death had been a surprise too. Emma and Mary remain my favourites forever and ever. Aaand I hate that we have to wait till next month for new eps now!

I love how the evil queen's way of dealing with things is to rip out his heart and then order the guards to "send him to my bed chamber!" ::snicker::

Yeah, I love how she has no compunction about killing people who get in her way. That's a quality I like in an evil queen.

I am so sad that the gorgeous Jamie Dornan is gone, but man they really had some writing clunk last night. And gorgeous though he was, he was def. not a good enough actor to sell some of that ridiculous cheese. Hot Sheriff was a bit of a whiny wimp in the end sadly. Ah well. Emma is still totally awesome. I keep wanting for them to do an episode focusing a bit more on her though. I know she doesn't have a fairy tale past but wouldn't mind learning something more about how her life had been. I wanna know what toughened her up/made her so awesome. (I know, abandonment/trust issues...blah blah fishcakes, but I want DETAILS. Heh.)

To be fair, I don't think there is an actor alive who could have sold what they were asking the audience to buy.

And I always adore getting more Emma backstory.

Probably true, but I know that while I was watching I was thinking "Wow, this is the most he's ever said....and I think I see why now." Heh.

My issue with Mary Margaret's one-night stand is that she can do way better than Whale. Isn't there someone hot who isn't in the middle of some other storybook romance she could boink?

Well, it is a REALLY small town...

Lol, I've been watching this show on and off again, and I caught last night's episode.

I agree with everything you said, particularly his death scene. My only question is if he is going to stay permanently dead, or if they are going to bring him back somehow. And then I wonder if the actor pissed someone off so they decided to kill him.

My next thought is that, if making out with Emma brought back his memories, then Emma's next move is to make out with all of Storybroke, thus exposing it's secrets so she can move on with her life.

I hope he stays permanently dead, as I never cared much about him, but with my tv luck...

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who found Graham ridiculous! I mean, he's really good looking but I don't need that crying over animals nonsense in my bar. You're a huntsman; if you don't like killing animals, go be a vegetarian. Why would the queen choose him, of all people? Bored, bored, bored.

Ha, I thought of your last post when Emma was all "you're both adults." It's nice to see the show take the rare form of "No, I really don't want to be involved in your business, stop trying to involve me." Emma and Mary Margaret win this episode, as who goes to a ten year old with their problems?

I'm not sure if I'm up for this show anymore when it comes back from hiatus. A little too all over the place for me at this point.

So much word.

Yeah, this was definitely a bad episode to end on.

So pathetic, I thought he'd break out in hysterics throughout the whole episode. Oh my god, a heartless huntsman who apes stereotypes of Native Americans? I guess the queen only saw him killing people at the bar. I don't know how people who are raised in the wild in real life act, but in order to make this more effective he should have been more misanthropic and just used to animal society, not "animals are pure and humans are not." Animals are self-interested. That seems to be what they were going for, but it came out more clichéd.

The plot was predictable. With the spoilers about a death, knowing what the episode would be about, and Graham's lack of personality, I knew he was going to die. And that he should have looked in the coffin. It was a good death, I agree.

So I've been teetering between does Regina know about her past or not. The shard of the glass coffin and this episode make me think yes. It's just her scene with Rumplestiltskin way back that had me thinking otherwise, though now I don't remember who seemed unknowing in that episode. My theory about Snow White's father being a pervert is shot now. Speaking of the past, making the Queen a rapist is making her unsympathetic for me. Well at least that means they don't mind having an unsympathetic female character with complexity. And I'd like a name for her.

Cliched, ridiculous, and nonsensical.

I know the scene you're talking about - and yes, it did put out the vibe that Regina didn't remember.

Speaking of the past, making the Queen a rapist is making her unsympathetic for me.

I was really, really unhappy about that choice.

I had many lols over Hottie McSheriff's acid trip. Good lord. I thought Emma was awesome in this episode too. She's SO MUCH BETTER when she isn't tied down by that wretched child.

I completely agree with that last line. I've always liked Emma, but she becomes ten times cooler without the brat at her heels. Hope the writers keep that up...

WORD.

I haven never enjoyed Emma more than I did this episode.

JFC, I was ready for Graham to die the moment I saw him shedding an emo tear over the dear. I mean, you'd think someone raised by wolves wouldn't be CRYING over killing for survival! Animals don't feel guilty about needing for to live, FFS. That was just utterly ridiculous and I was embarrassed for Jamie having to act that scene out.

His death was a bit of a surprise- not that it happened, but I was expecting it to be in a fire? I thought that's what the spoilers had said, so this was interesting. A lot of fans were like 'maybe he's not dead!' at the mysterious fire tidbit, so maybe TPTB were like 'LET'S CRUSH HIS HEART, LOL AT THOSE SUCKERS'. IDK. O.o

Anyway, whatever, I really liked it, this ep was awesome, aside from Graham's woobie-ness.

Yeah, I heard 'raised by wolves' and went 'then how does he understand language?

Did you predict that Graham would die, or did you read that somewhere? Because to me, it was a surprise.

I really like Mary Margaret! She's cute! *g*

First there were people who had read spoilers talking about how he was going to die and then the promo at the end of the previous episode spelled it out, so...
